At least someone finally got to the truth of our knowing who McCain was rather than who he is. McCain has clearly conceded the Republican party to the neocons, and now espouses views that he has previously opposed, seeks endorsements from people whose ideologies he previously condemned, and has reversed his position on international diplomacy. Whomever claims to know McCain from his record as a sensible moderate either isn't listening or has a very short memory.

I look forward to the day when religious nutjobs have no place in politics. Regardless of your political inclinations, the addition of dogma can do nothing but complicate and/or obscure the issues.
