anyone noticed how you hardly see india with declan since the recast? She was ALWAYS with him when James was playing him. I think I've only seen them togethr about twice lol. I dont like new declan atall, he looks wrong, and cant act. he has a wierd slightly goofy moody immature thing going on that is completely at odds with the character as he is now i.e father, widower etc
being in the uk, we still have a bit of James playing Dec left but from this I think they may have made a good choice recasting him. A bit of a slow starter though... looking forward to seeing him really get into the role... though i'll miss James... he was fit! xD
Doesn't he have this kinda really moody nasty look all the time? its wierd! James had far more humour and interesting facial expressions and had more depth to his acting. I used to love the way he'd raise his eyebrow and be very funny aswell lol
@harryginnyalways I agree. A lot of soaps seem to do this when they recast. I don't know if it's so the new actor can make the role their own, but in terms of being realistic for the audience and having some continuity I don't know why they didn't cast someone who looks or sounds anything like James. Even if he had similar hair and body type they could work around the rest of it with styling. Odd choice to me.
on the wensite it says hes taking a BREAK from tv to pursue his childhobecoming od dream of a solider. PLEASE tell me BREAK means he's coming bakk later? lolz im desperate! I LOVED THE OLD DEC
it is soo wierd seeing him play Dec... I know theyre his first scenes but he seems very wooden. He doesnt seem to have the warmth or charisma that James did, he comes across like he doesnt even want to be there! lol. personally I think they made a great mistake in recasting the part, and not a great choice in new actor - whats with the long hair???!
It's true ..i could never imagine the new declan with bridget..

James Sorasen is the ONLY Declan to me. He was very handsome and a great actor, I really miss him :(.
BUT this this new Declan is GOREGOUS too, love his eyes and voice
