It's ok ya'll, they had lots of songs that were so killer that it's hard to pick just one, DNA was really great cuz you could really hear Paul and that's what kept my attention. AFOS wasn't for everyone, just the cool bunch like us,lol! Well, here's to appreciation and listening a little deeper than the hair-cut and fledgling videos!

K, I think we can definatly agree Paul was a kick arse member of the band, but why doest anyone credit someone besides Paul? What about Frank, the work he put in too. Listen to What Am I suppose to Do or Over My Head, who do you notice more? Frank or Paul, you notice Frank. Not to mention other songs where the bass is clear. And what about Ali building the shed in so many other AFOS songs, those electro dance beats you hear off of Listen? Paul is great, but theres more to afos than JUST Paul.

Of Course,Andrew.They are all great, their synergy undeniable. Frank is an amazing musician,Ali obviously the heartbeat of the band,Mike had great innovation. Paul looked like my best friend Charlie in HS, then I liked the guitar parts. AFOS origional line-up played the soundtrack of my HS yrs. I read all the LOTR books to "Listen" and I played DNA over and over cuz it was "happy" when I was afraid of the dark.lol. I just think Paul is humble and gracious, but yeah they "all" rocked!-xoxo-Meda

Nice find. I remember watching that as it was broadcast. Some trivia for you. This was the absolute height of AFOS' popularity Stateside. This show had them headlining OVER Duran Duran. Other opening acts that day included South Side Johnny and the Jukes, and Jack Mack and the Heart Attack.

If u were a true Flock Of Seagulls fan I Ran (So Far Away) wouldn't be ur favorite song. Cause u would know how they ruined the band in America labeling them One-Hot Wonders it was on a show 100 Greatest One-Hit Wonders & they had other hits that's a lie. You must not be a true fan I mean it's a good song but that's the reason why it's not favorite. (It's Not Me) Talking their first Single is far better.
