  • When I click on "Mirror Geometry" at the end of creation, the forms of lips change and go inside the head. Do u know why?

  • @telegrapaty When you 'Mirror Geometry' go the the settings on the right and turn all the Point X, Y and Z to ''0'.

    If this hasn't solved the issue you need to go to the setting just below call 'Merge Threshold and the value will be '0.1'. Change that value to anything below 0.1, for example, '0.01' and so on until its perfect.

    I demonstrate this at 9:00 on the video so check that.

  • @donrodman3 heey...thanks a lot for your help! but still i have one more question....when i finished this lesson completely, i scaled the size of this creation...but when i click on Play button it changes to its original size. do you know why?

  • no theres loads of more simple ways to do it.

    It looks complicated but the geometry flow is quite bad on this video, i just modelled a quick character for the purpose of this video and the facial rigging tutorials.

  • you can start of with making these easy things like bouncing balls and such, but you should really buy and learn maya that way, ´cause trying to read you the way wont work without any experience... you might want to learn the basics, so you know what the most basic tools does, and get an understanding of the terms in maya, but nothing more :P

  • you get a free month of tuts by experts on thier site. (well at least, for the 2010 student version, witch is what i have
