...this is for 2009, I couldn't find more recent ones of a complete season. I believe as of the end of the 2010 season App state led by about 400 people in avg attendance. Probably due to a poor season for UM. Either way UM and App state dominate this category in the FCS. Both schools should be proud and there is no reason to argue over it. Screw The Grizzlies, Screw Monte (The Circus Bear), Screw Washington-Grizz Stadium...Why dont you name it Smokey The Bear Forest Fire Prevention Field? @appstatefanRS If you actually watch this video you can see that Montana had calls taken away from them on that last drive. When they converted on 4th down, they got a pretty generous spot. Also, App St fumbled the ball like 3 times, but they were apparently "down by contact."

And Montana did play App St at App St earlier and won, so no more excuses Montana is better.
