  • This was illegal. Everyone who claims that it was legal doesn't know the law. This won't stand. Throw the GOP bums out.

  • This is what it looks like when Democracy dies and Corporate toadyism rules

  • @jackassj500 how was the health care bill illegal?

  • @jackassj500

Legally? Than why did a republican judge grant a stay from publishing the law, TWICE now?

This vote was plainly illegal. So is going against a court order. Even the republicans facing recall are bailing now, tails tucked between their legs. They should be going to jail for contempt.

  • We need to do something HELP HELP my state is falling apart and being raped by fat ugly republicans

  • Sleeper99999 Its time to rebalance the load, or let the wagon fall. The later would be fine with me. Why? Our reps made agreements and debt they should be held accountable for. If you want the rich to pay thier share? there is no portion you recieve that was not removed from the private sector by force. I say let them go banko, states and federal. Let them wallow in thier mess, why should we be responsible for agreements and debt we did not create? Liberty may actually return to our country!

  • Sleeper99999 Perhaps you have not noticed the regulations, fees, fines, permits, epa, endangered species, and other industry destroying enterprises of the various agencys? What you fail in your infinate wisdom to realise thru your public sector brain is we do not want your help. We want you out of our way and our lives. That is the differance. Just get the hell out of the way, and stop being a parasite upon the rest of us.

  • @MAKAROVOWNER You're lying. Seriously. Unless you're willing and able to inspect your own food, test your own medicines and household chemicals for safety, certify your cars for safety, inspect your house for structural defects, patrol the roads and highways where you live, hell, PAVE your own roads and highways, act as your own fireman, your own garbageman, your own consumer advocate in all fields, construct and deploy your own aerospace defense system to guard your personal airspace...

  • @Sleeper99999 I inspect my food every time I cook or eat. I stay away from pharma, Use few house hold chemicals, inspect and do my own vehicle maint, I am a contractor so that covers my house, The police and fire personel will show only after I have not dealt with a situation alone or its too late, I do haul most of my own junk (contractor), I need no advocate "I will make my own good or bad choices thank you" The military defense is provided by constitutional government, Read the Bill of Rights

  • @Sleeper99999 Lets look at this another way. The government failed to inspect peanut butter and people died, right? Medicines and chemicals can and do kill people after haveing been inspected, right? Cars pass certification, then fail, right? The inspector for homes inspects, but structures fail, Right? And in all of these cases what else is the common theme, The government nor the inspector take responsibility for the failure after inspections. They just collect$ and justify gov. Jobs.

  • @MAKAROVOWNER Can you imagine how much worse it would be without them?

How's that GOP Kool-Aid taste anyway?

  • @Sleeper99999 One other thing, by advocate you mean representation in government thru elected office I and all others should already have it, except for gov. unions and lobbyists. Its about time Representative government started being Representative to those who are PAYING the bills of the States and Federal Government. If you think others should pay more your right.....get your check book out and send your payment to...NFIB or would you prefer the IRS?

  • • Please read the interesting healthcare reform act and healthcare insurance reform acts.

    1) Government workers only pay about $100 per person for the basic part of the healthcare benefits. When the actual cost is $1100 per month per workers.

    2) Your company pays for your heathcare benefits. Do you know why you have a very high monthly deductable? Would you believe it if I told you the government workers healthcare cost is attached to your bill?

    Please read.

  • • Here is another interesting reading PL98-21 (Public Law 98th Congress 21th Law Passed). Most Government Labor Union Workers signed a document when they got hired to allow collection of union dues and Opting out of FICA taxes (Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid Taxes).

PL98-21 allow government workers to collect retirement and surviror benefits from Social Security Trust Fund and Medicare and Medicaid even if they did not pay the taxes!

Please read what gov workers doing.

  • • American Reinvestment Act (Shovel Ready Jobs) only spend 6-8% on infrasturcture constuction. 92-94% spent on pensions, salaries and entitlement boost. (CBO Audit, GAO Audit, OCC treas audit). Now many states are stuck because the $600 billion was a one time economic stimulus. Pension and Salaries Fed Grant comes with Maintenance of Effort requirement with no more Fed Grant, tax payers stuck with $500 billion extra taxation.

Please read it's fun and interesting what government do.

  • Wisconsin Voters voted for Republicans because the government workers boosted their salaries using very unsavory acts.

A government clerk may get a layoff notice and recieve Severance Package, Unemployment, re-education funding and early pension.

Within 90 days after layoff, that clerk gets rehired in a different department of government getting a higher pay and pension accrual based on prior seniority and keep getting early pension ck, keep unemployment and severence and higher pay. Read.

  • This was just abosolutly disrepectful, the manner in which these senators acted is horrible. There days are numbered as senators, we need a recall now. And what they took out of the bill was the fiscal stuff in the bill but left in collective bargaining, so this is not at all about fixing the budget its about union busting. Does Scott Walker want us to go back to the 1920s when workers were taken advantage of and when the robber baron fat cats became richer? Absolutly ridiculous.

  • Heck yeah Rep Barca! Pacino needs to play Barca in "Scent of a Wisconsinite"

Pacino as Barca: This is a violation of the LAW! There's the middle class facing the fire and there's Scott Walker hiding in Big Daddy's pocket. And what are you gonna do? You're gonna reward Scott and destroy the middle class.

Fitz: Sir, you're out of order!

Pacino: Out of order? - I'll SHOW you out of order!

  • This has gone on long enough. I urge the people of Wisconsin to get the Republicans out. Please work with the state to get your petitions out for recalls of the Republicans behind this.

It's your state take it back! Your vote does count, please get petitions started for the recall of these Republicans who want to take away your rights.

Let your voice be heard, start the petitions!

  • Union thug tree hugging state employees, go hug or cry for a tree perhaps that will help.

  • Underhanded would be leaving the state at a time you are doing business of the people of your state. Despicable would be misrepresenting the positions of tax payers by legislators and media in league. As we in the private sector who have paid the burden of pulling this bloated wagon of slave masters called public employees. You feel you may be held apart from economic impact cause by your destruction of liberty and industry. I guess you are wrong, about time.

  • @MAKAROVOWNER If middle class workers in the private sector don't enjoy the hard-fought benefits that middle class workers in the public sector still do, the solution is to pull the private workers back up, not kick the public workers down. You moron.

  • @Sleeper99999

This. The benefits the public sector has/makes (Which compensates that their wages are a little LOWER than private sector. They pay a lot more than what most people think they pay for) is something everyone should have, private and public sector alike. Big business is over-bloated and needs to be brought down to size a little more, make 'em spread their wealth a bit more.

  • Absolutely fucking despicable. Typical underhanded Republican behavior. Honestly, why should they care? They still have all of their tax funded salaries and benefits, plus Koch money. Here's to Dale Schultz, though, way to listen to your constituency! Shame on the rest of you for selling democracy to the highest bidder.

  • This is the last straw that breaks the camel's back. Now prepare to reap the whirlwind you swindling, conniving, low-down, brainless, heartless, SOULLESS CORPORATE KOCH-SUCKING ASSCLOWNS!!!

    GENERAL STRIKE, HERE...WE...COME!!!!!!

  • OMG. What Bullshit!

  • Good for the Republicans. Enough is enough. At some point, you have to move things forward. Th emails prove Walker was willing to amend the bill but yet the Democrats just stayed away. Democracy works when you elect people and they show up and talk. If not, the majority has to move it forward. If the people don't like it, then they can vote others in that can change things back. I think everyone will see this bill it GREAT for taxpayers. You know, the people that actually pay the bills.

  • @KiheiLawyer I don't know where to start here. Should I mention that the unions agreed to every financial concession asked of them, they only refused to sign away their bargaining power? Should I say that the phony budget crisis came about when Gov. Walker gave a massive tax break to his campaign donors? Or perhaps I should point out that State Sen. Fitzgerald admitted on TV that this was about hurting Obama's re-election chances in Wisconsin for 2012, not about the budget. Open your eyes!

  • Amazing! The atmosphere!

2:44 Fitzgerald- it's the same bill you debated for 60hrs

    Barca- Oh, it's nothing different?

Fitzgerald- Nay, they just removed items from it....Nothing new, they just removed items.

-Chanting in the background of the displeased public

How are Walker and Fitzgerald going to sleep at night!

They were clearly dishonest. Even tried HS Jedi mine tricks on Barca!

This same kind of stuff is going on in every GOP run State Gov't- dictatorships!

    GOP's TOAST in 2012

  • The 4:52 mark of this video is sad but absolutely hilarious. That "pleasant guitar over a valley sunset" music could not have come in at a worse time. They fade/chop the voices of pragmatism/dissent and play that? So surreal and almost Orwellian in fact.

  • Thank you Dale Schultz, for being the lone Republican senator actually listening to your constituents and not following a dictator's orders.

To the rest of you? Your days are numbered, you'll be lucky if you have a month before the recall petitions are all signed.

You think we'll forget about this? It's just gotten started.

  • Why do I hear "The Imperial March" in my head?

  • @Triplezero13999 someone was playing that on a trombone as they marched around the square earlier, pretty fitting.

  • Holy shit... it's happening. The people won't simply go home now... it's to late for that.

  • @aquatalia411 Two words to you: Fuck you.

  • @Akeche Wow such deep insight and well thought out. Union teach you that?

  • @aquatalia411 You are not worth anything more than those two words, you and the rest of those fucking batshit crazy Republican's. Not all Republican's are nutty, but sadly those in office seem to be.

I'm not sure what part of what they did could possibly be called right, but I am sure you'd try to pull a reason out your ass.

  • @aquatalia411

Hey champ. You like your paid vacations? You like your sick leave? You like your five day work week? You know who gave you that? You know what that's based off of? Unions.

  • @Palakto Hey I run my own business I pay for my own medical care, sick leave and vacation. I work 6 days a week to a tune of about 70-80 hours. I don't ask anyone to do what I am not willing to do. America needs to grow a pair and get back to work.

  • Comment removed

  • They took the ONE portion of the bill that Wisconsinites overwhelmingly oppose, the one portion that has been causing Walker and republican approval ratings to sink over the past three weeks...and backdoor it?

They did a roll call vote as he was reading the law and adjourned before he even finished.

  • @11111110 They have made a dangerous gamble. The people will either disburse or fight. There is no other way now. A foolish move.

  • I'm so mad english became my second language

  • Congratulations, Wisconsin Republicans, you have just committed political rape of a legal system AND political suicide in one swift, illegal action. In front of the world that is watching you. Enjoy your incoming recalls and hopefully, jail-time, for these illegal actions.

  • Doesn't matter what side you are on, this is what happens when certain people have too much power and feel they can do what ever they want.

  • @TheAhshia Really? Some people got elected and passed a law. YOu happen to disagree with that law, but that does not mean that you get to prevent any and all progress.

  • I wonder if this was unlabeled, if people may see this as from some sort of dystopia film. See how they ignore all objections and just start voting? And then it cuts to music after they leave and everyone starts shouting? Yeah. That's cartoon evil there.

Fuck you, WI republicans. You don't deserve to serve these people. You're absolute scum.

  • @Nothingseen Look, I feel your and anger and it is justified but you should have ended your comment after That's cartoon evil there. The rest sounds like it could just as well be spoken from a bigoted hate monger on either side of the aisle. Let's show we are better than them by showing more class and respect than they know how to even muster. Scum is what some right winger just called me and the protesters after a logical, peaceful comment i made on another video. Don't be that guy, be better.

  • @MadCoins Come on. It never amazes me how liberals think it's better to "be the better person" than it is to fight back and try to win. Losing with class means nothing. Those people still get their benefits slashed and their unions dismantled. The right-wing scumbags in Wisconsin are not deserving of common courtesy.

  • @Sleeper99999 Winning has nothing to do with class. Just win. Stop wasting your time with me, all I'm saying is some douche right winger called me scum for supporting the unions. If you want to call them scum you go right ahead it makes no difference in the end. Just pointing out that you literally stoop to their levels when you do so. Solidarity!

  • Love the calm guitar music at the end!

  • I don't know whether I should "like" this video for showing the horrible things that are happening, or "dislike" it because of those horrible things in question. :(

  • @badicalawesome just had the same dilemma
