  • @crowdemw That is a training fallacy. When Ryan pushes off the wall his knees go past his toes. He is very strong in that position has no knee problems from squatting.

  • @happygilmore749 He did 6 rounds of both circuits. We only showed 1 round of each. He had 1 min of rest between each round.

  • @JeahForLife Planks, sit ups, push ups, that helps with your core which is really important

  • @sadlydogscantfly So does jumping, cleaning, and snatching. Your core is engaged more during a clean then it is during a sit-up.

  • @JeahForLife 13 year old? and lean muscle as in lean body not buffed up like you're on steroids, but good shape? If that's what you're looking for try swimming. Trains 97% of your body muscles and you won't become buffed up just in your arms so your muscle growth is symmetrical. Best ever.

    I think it's a very unique workout for a swimmer, doing power workouts and 40yards dash!! Go Lochte!!

  • @619reggie I agree that it is unique but if you think about it this training develops a great vertical jump. Vertical jumping is highly related to starts, walls, and underwater dolphin kick. The weights are relevant to Ryan. The arm circuit is for his endurance during the IMs.  All relevant to swimming. It is unique and we have fun with it! Thanks for the comment!

  • @kar313 Arms and shoulders do get burned out. Think about what happens during the IM. Arms and shoulders get burned out so you have to train for it.
