  • this is the best drift tutorial i've ever seen...you got it ! nice control of the car......" candy for the eye"......drifting this way is an art !!!..do you use rear diff locked ? or some kind of counter-steer device ?

  • @wilsonpsj Thank you! I really appreciate it :D I'm in the works for re-doing this on my new channel with more in depth explanations. I actually do not lock my rear or front diff. The xmod Evo chassis is so heavy, it needs all the oversteer it can get! And no counter-steer device either, its all feel of the car :) they don't actually make devices like that for small scale, only for larger cars

  • FOR EVERY BODDY LOOKING AT THIS READ THIS!!

They do no longer sell xmods at stores...you will get lucky if you can find one on ebay...

Upgrades only get better and better for drifters

Just like white charisma said these all the basic necessary needs for drifting

But u can also use a way better mottor which can make it go up to 58mph and more!!

    The skies the limit

  • @pre3tiboii well said mate :) all you need are the basic parts and it'll last a loooooooooooooooooooooongg time if you treat it and maintain it properly :D

  • @pre3tiboii 58mph on these little guys? Dayum, thats nice!

  • @st604boy haha yeah im still working on my corvette and mustang and hopefully i get a skyline r35...

i may be posting a vid of my vette and stang and youll see what i have running outside and in:)

  • lol mini ken block

  • @40ozDiRtYHaRrY40oz no ken block, I'm WhiteCharisma :p

  • nice drifing im buying one today :) of ebay £30.00 slr

  • @xman92497 Very nice!! Have fun with it mate!!

  • Good Tutorial man. You did that well considering that you didnt physically talk. I think it would be awsome if you talked next time. Good Luck. Oh , and it would be great if you could tell me where you bought these. Thnx

  • @sachureedas Well, they use to sell them at Radioshack here in the states, and it depended everywhere else around the world. Now you can find them on ebay and some other sites, but try for a used one with some upgrades. It'll save u some money and you'll have lots of fun :)

  • 4WD ore 2WD?

  • @HerrAustria 4WD :) in the description of both the videos for this tutorial...

  • 4WD? :D

  • @trampolinekickboard yup!! :D

  • where did you get that controller?

  • @domin8thewoods2 ebay lololol its a Kyosho Mini-z remote called the KT-5, only compatible with mini-z electronics

  • are you useing a drift box

  • @zalek2468 nope! I am the drift box. That's only for bigger scale cars anyways.... one of those is like the size of my car lol

  • IMHO, an important upgrade for drifters is...LIGHTS

  • @gorrammit hahahaha in my other car, It does have lights!! XD

  • DO they still sell these in RadioShack? I dont remember seeing them anymore the last time I walked in the store. And that was like maybe 4 months ago.

  • @st604boy yeah unfortunately they stopped :( only way to get them now is ebay or some other stores that still carry new ones.

  • where did u get that rc car

  • do you need to lock the rear end to drift?

  • Thumbs up for the effort you put in to produce this video

  • Nice videos! I'm thinking about getting one for myself. Looks like I'l add some on to my CHRISTMAS list!

  • dude , u r the best xmod drifter ive ever seen . i want u to teach me how to do that so good!

  • @TheLitDynamite Haha thanks!! Its all in the practice. Essentially, an open area would help a lot as well. I'm just lucky my house has hardwood flooring loll!! Practice makes perfect though!!! With the right setup, you'll be a drift king in no time!!!

  • do u have level 2 motor 4 the evo that i could maby buy off you

  • @hotrodsk8er Sorry I do not, only enough to run my cars :( What is better is an aftermarket mini-z motor. just make sure its 130 size and FET safe. Try the PN Racing BB stock motor, its great! Most motors out there are wayy better then the radioshack crap.

  • Ha!!!! I knew an xmod could not drift like that with the stock electronics board. I have a mini z ma-010 and an xmod street mustang which is electronics Are fried bud still I love the way that baby drifts very nice job man!!! :)

  • @antonis0035tc Thanks!!! I might have to prove you wrong though ;) It all comes with practice, I use to drift stock ones no prob, I just upgraded is all. If I can, maybe I'll get up some new videos of an xmods with a stock pcb drifting. I sold all of mine though LOL

  • @xXWhiteCarismaXx man i found many micro t boards and very cheap with servos but what i dont know is if they will be strong enough to power the xmod motor. and if you can pls send me a pic of your board so i can see the places you wired the board at ant0ni50035tc@abv.bg thanks. MAN I WISH THIS WILL FIX MY XMOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD

  • where do i buy these boards?

  • @sonomapeeps sorry for such a late reply!! eBay should have them, or search their names around and you should find them :D

  • yo, next time show the control in the video so i can c how u do it!!!

  • @roboduke1086891 Thanks for the idea!! Sure thing, I'm actually thinking of making a new tutorial showing a lot more :D

  • yo, next time show the control in the video so i can c how u do it!!!

  • can you buy a xmod with AWD stock?

  • @kwbillabong no you can't :( thats the bad thing about xmods. You'll have to buy the AWD kit and put it in the car.

  • @xXWhiteCarismaXx I saw a barricade xmod with pre-installed awd kit brand new car in box so you can and i will get the barricade from the transformrs movie jut for that :D

  • @GameGearGuy no no no, you can't from radioshack i mean. People can still open the box to install it, but from radioshack, they never came with AWD. Only mini-z AWD's come with it permanently. Ive seen them, you can break the seal and install it in the car, or they can easily include it with the purchase of the car.

  • @xXWhiteCarismaXx Oh OK!!! I thought that yu mean like they dont come with awd at all! Well yeah probably the seal is broken on the one i was looking at but its still better because the price is the same or even less than a stock xmod :D

  • Very Nice Drifting,Could you sell me some drift kits or tell me where to get them. Thanks, please send me a message.

  • sick mann

  • @matt9696stan thanks!

  • man your car is too well tuned

    it drift too easy XD

oh well, most of us out their can't drift like that due to the car's abilities

but nice video!! you are the KING OF DRIFITNG !!!

    make more drifting videos/ shows

    i love to watch them !! 5* !!

  • @wtf000000000000 thanks man! haha nah I'm not the drift king, not yet at least :p

  • whats the difference between a mini z and an xmod

  • @Xxdavyboy200xX

xMod are commercialized in America, and Mini-Z are generally in Asia. But Mini-Z is made by Kyosho, and xMods are distributed by RadioShack. Xmods have recently been discontinued so it maybe hard to find now. I would have to say Mini-Zs are better because more people use them, and they have more stuff like mods, Xmod is very limited unless you go for aftermarket mods and stuff. I would recommend Mini-Z but its like 100-200 for one car, a starter kit for Xmods is about $50-60.

  • @Xxdavyboy200xX A lot of things actually... but Mini-z cars are more powerful in radio and are much more precise. Therefore making them more expensive. Xmods are cheaper and are less powerful in radio, and are not as precise, but with some tuning they can be great as well!!

  • nice control man!

  • @sirpinketalfonzo thanks!!

  • wow that was an amazing tutorial.

  • @trainboy414 lol!! super late reply, thanks!!
