This car was only produced in Argentina from 1972 to 1976.
It´s a special version made by Mercedes B. Argentina, at that time, because the imports had been closed by government to stimulate national production.
There were 3 models: a-this one, the "crew cab" (double); b- another one with just two seats (I don´t know how to call that version), c- and the third one was the family type, what we call break, familiar, rural....I hope you know what I mean, cause I don´t have the specific term.
@DamnStraightM35A2 : Those tail lights are from the estate ( station wagon ) this vehicle was made with an estate version. It is in the description : impecable estado. They also say that it is a "crew cab" = doble cabina, in french cabine double ! ;o)
@DamnStraightM35A2 : I can see and appreciate that you know your mercedes ( I own a W123, 300D 1985 , video as soon as I can, winter here and in storage ! ) but mercedes made speciale bodies for hears, ambulances etc and the tail lights probably comes from one of them. I tried to send you the link but it doesn't work on here ! Keep on driving these old Benz ! :o)
@unimogman404 I Googled it, you're right. It isn't a passenger estate, which is what I thought you meant. Shame the guy cut up such a rare and unique car.

why not just keep it with a trunk? the little "bed" on the back isn't any bigger, and it isn't waterproof, the trunk is.

@unimogman404 The W115 was never made in a factory estate version. The W123 had the first factory station wagons.
Also if this car (truck?) were made from an estate the back doors would look different.
