@mwich40 That's surprising! Because watching this led me to believe there's NOTHING you can't do! I'm pretty sure if you trained hard enough you could fly around the world so fast you'd reverse time. lol
Hey. First of all, I want to tell You that yours video is my motivation. And i love train in this way. I from Poland and we dont have gym like Your's, pepole here don't have idea how better is your type of training than tradicional weight lifting. I was thinking how to start that kind of gym here, in Poland but it's to hard with no cash;) How do you plan yours workouts? How many series and repets do You make in strenght sesions? Sorry for my english;) And all the best from Poland!
Well, the man is certifiably insane. I have lots of work to do, so I am very happy to have seen him in action. This is what its absolutely all about, not the wii fit, the latest abmachine, or the shaking devices out there. Now off to work!
Dude, i have watched countless vids on The Tube re training and have not come accross someone that works out like you. Hmmm exagerating a little but very few. That Evil Wheel stuff. Only one cat I know can do that like you. Very impressive mate!
@FridgeNatious thats good, I'd rather not deal with petrified, normal people. This is not the best place for them. I'm always happy to help those who want to be helped, even if it means introducing them to a different trainer, there are lots of them here, but none like me. I win some and lose some, but do not aim to please everyone, just the select few. Have a good one.
you can see the gist of what I am doing on my blogspot, thestrengthshop. the link is in the description of the video as well. I always add exercises as I see necessary and usually change my workouts every 8 weeks or so.
@mwich40 hello matt you have got some freaky routines there. I am shocked at the stuff you do, full respect mate, I wish I could do a quarter of it!!
Could you give me any tips, for example, what do you think about me doing squat, deadlift and bench press continuously for all workouts. Do you think its beneficial for me coz I want to gain strength more than mass.
I'm skinny ( 5' 11" and 70kg BW) and know my genes make it hard to gain mass
I'm 5'7" 195, I havent played basketball in a few years. and thats a shame because i like the game and it promotes a ton of athleticism. I could dunk a small basketball a few years ago, not a regulation size, but I was ballin regularly with friends. I need to get back into it.
Ross is an influence in my style, as well as several others, but I have huge respect for his ability, and to be acknowledged in the same paragraph with him is an honor
Driving directions to Castleton Commerce Way, Virginia Beach, VA 23456 8.1 mi about 16 mins Indian River Rd, Virginia Beach 1.Head northwest on Indian River Rd toward Hillcrest Farms Blvd 1.0 mi 2.Turn right at Elbow Rd 1.9 mi 3.Continue on Dam Neck Rd 4.1 mi 4.Slight right at London Bridge Rd 0.8 mi 5.Make a U-turn at Tower Bridge Loop 75 ft 6.Turn right at Castleton Commerce Way 0.2 mi
i definitely do a lot of full body, i'll isolate if i have a need or an issue to address(injury or weak point)
I choose full body for many reasons... try running full speed at another big dude running full speed and collide with every ounce of power you have, will you be standing afterwards? Theres a better chance if you blast your body as one unit, not a collection of individual pieces. I thank my mom for these guns, she's a lady beast
Fantastic display of dynamic power! How much did you have in the sandbag for the throws? And is it actually sand? I have 100lbs. in mine and it's not even close to that big.
i wrestled when i was a young buck, then stuck with football, i ran track and field, and played with gymnastics a bit, but the gridiron is where i grew. I recommend all athletes, young and old, to get a basic level of understanding of gymnastics, you will benefit tremendously from basic, quality gymnastic instruction, regardless of your sport, I promise
yeahh i compleatly agree if you can get use to a sport that is compleatly understanding the capibility of what your body can do. I have a heavybag and im always thinking of things to do with it do you have anything in mind. i usially like do yo keg tosses with it and lunges while holding it. You always have the most unique workouts i would like to see what you could do with it.
@mwich40 So true. I took gymnastics lessons as a kid, ran track and did martial arts later, and now in my early 40s stillhave tremendous flexibiltity and strength, which I largely attribute to gymnastics development at an early age.

kidding, i used two 40 pound bags of wood pellets (or horse bedding), its less dense than sand so the bags will be a bit bigger and less leakage
