Hey Girl, i Absolutely recommend the Clarisonic. I had somewhat of large pores around my nose and HATED them, but after 1 week ive noticed they've pretty much disappeared and my skin looks and feels so much better. I used to hate to take off my makeup before bed and now that i have it i get excited because i know this is really getting the job done and improving my skin. Good luck :)
I suffered through acne through all of my teen years and into my twenties. I'm 23 (about to be 24) and just got off an accutane treatment that lasted 10 months. I can tell you though, on keeping my acne away now, I use everything that is non-comedogenic. It's a must. I would stick with a scrub like St Ives apricot scrub for mornings. It'll get rid of any dryness that the benzol is giving you. Olay's Complete SPF lotion is a must for me. Also, try Cliniques Acne Treatment foundation.
The same thing happened to me! I had perfect skin till i turned 21. I had the same outbreaks around my chin and jaw area. I used proactiv and it gave me perfect skin, and i've been using it for years (not everyday now, just every now and then.) The acne free is very similar i believe. You're beautiful regardless of acne :P xo
Hello Nikki :-) SO happy to see you back! You look beautiful as ever. I am glad you found a good skincare which suits you. Those pimples can be so frustrating! I am like you... I had never acne when I was young, but now, in my adulthood, when something doesn't agree with my skin, it shows, and it can be difficult to treat. I just realized that you are exactly 10 years younger than me :-) SO jealous! Lol Big hugs to you my dear friend. Love, Hana xxx
I have been having the same problems! Never had acne before, not lately my chin is breaking out and gross. I have also had great luck with that Clean and Clear spot treatment. I have used it for a little over a year. just a heads up: the product ate its way through the tube after only a couple months. Therefore, I try to repurchase often.
@christylynn0100 Hi Christy! Thanks so much for subscribing! Well, I came from a family business (Carnival business) that we recently started to get out of...so for now I'm experimenting with some creative outlets. As for the travel goes, my boyfriend is in the music industry and is always on tour so I visit him on the road as much as possible! Thanks again, keep in touch! XO
Can you do an update if the dark spot corrector works? I randomly started having breakouts on my cheeks the past year and now have quite a few yucky scars and have yet to find anything that works super well. Thank you for sharing your routine! I am going to have to pick up the clean and clear spot treatment.
@HighlightAndCouture Absolutely! I'll definitely keep you guys updated on that...and if that product doesn't work, I'm gonna try Cliniques even better line! Thanks so much for watching girl!
1st you are gorgeous without makeup, so not fair heh... It's great that this works for you if you ever want to try anything more natural try tea tree oil. I bought a bottle at wal mart for $8 and it's a natural bacteria killer and it really helped with drying up breakouts. Glad to see you back!
@crazybeautifulmua Wow, thats a great option! Thanks for the tip love! Going the natural route would definitely be more ideal! Thanks again, have a great weekend girl! XO
Thanks for sharing! My skin has also been super bad lately and the Clean and Clear treatment worked for me as well, but what I found to help the most is cutting out dairy because dairy makes hormone levels go crazy! and I started taking evening primrose oil in pill form and fish oil which is Omega 3, 6, and 9 in pill form and it has totally cleared my skin! Acne is usually caused by hormones so taking both pills will level out hormones and prevent breakouts! hope this helps :)
@May4daisy Thank you so much for these tips girl! I really appreciate it. I will definitely go the extra mile to make sure my skin is clear! Keep me updated on things that are working for you! XO
Hi there. I'm 34 and have been suffering from adult acne since I was about 26. It got a LOT worse after having my 2 children. But the AcneFree system (for sensitive skin... the blue one) has really started the process of healing. I used that recently, then changed over to using just the DermaE tea tree & E antiseptic cream. My skin cleared up after about 4 days. Now my skin's calmer, and I'm back to using my favorite skincare products from Sibu Beauty. It's a seabuckthorn seed based.
@hkg926 Where do you buy the derm e product...we're almost the same age and although I dont have kids my skin started acting up a few years ago....and I think its hormonal.
@hkg926 Wow, thanks for this info love! I'm loving the feedback I'm getting from you girls! Means so much! Keep me updated on products that you're loving! XO
Glad you are back! You look sooo pretty without make up!
The problem with Murad is that almost all of thier products are exfoliating which over dries the skin and can end up making acne/breakouts worse. As for your hyperpigmentation, I would recommend something with Lactic Acid or Salicylic Acid. I have pretty bad hyperpigmentation and I used to Control Correctives Salicylic cleanser every other day and I got amazing results.
Yay! You're back! I was just thinking about you. I've had acne since I was 13 (I'm 28), but it's gotten better in that my breakouts are hormonal now. Neutrogena products work for me, so I save money there. I also use a mask once a week. I also upped my water intake and I limit the amount of sodium and sugar I consume. I hope your schedule slows down enough that you're able to post more videos. Have a wonderful day!
@KatieBeth83 Aw thanks for the welcome back! See, my breakouts are usually hormonal as well but December just didn't like me! Let me know if you have an holy grail products that are working for you! Have a great weekend girl! XO
@nikkifinn88 I'm not picky when it comes to cleansers as long as they have salicylic acid in them. I love the Neutrogena pink grapefruit line. For masks, I love Murad's Clarifying Mask (although my skin doesn't like Murad cleansers, either) and the Origins Out of Trouble Mask. Clinique's Pore Refining Serum has changed my life, as has the Clarisonic Mia. Have you tried Kate Somerville's ExfoliKate? I tried a sample, and it was amazing! I'm saving up for the full size bottle.
I didn't have acne when I was a teenage either. I've got cystic acne, which I developed when I was like 24. But Dec was a bad skin month for me too. I used Murad too, and it like burnt my skin too. I actually bought DERMAdoctor Ain't Misbehavin' Medicated Acne Control Serum from Ulta, it's pricey ($45) but it's worked wonderfully. I did end up going to a dermatologist in Dec and found out I have rosacea as well. So I've been focusing on getting my skin clear. I'm right there with ya hun!!! XOXO
Im 32 and have adult acne I've started using Mario badescu products. It's at ulta People swear by his products! I've been using his enzyme cleansing gel, special cucumber lotion(toner) and buffering serum. He also has a whiting mask for acne scars and to even skin tone and it is awesome. You can go to his website and take a skin analysis and they will send you 6 big samples for free!! They will last me several weeks! Research it on YouTube and you will see all the great reviews! Hope it helps!
@Melmphs Wow! Thank you so much for the info love! This is why I love us girls sharing our tips...definitely gonna check out those products! Have an awesome weekend! XO
