"If I Should Die Before I Wake has Biggie's verse from the unreleased song Stop The Breaks with Raekwon and KRS-One." Deadly Combination was the remix.
@jcac1023 this isn't an original and everyone of these versus is from different tracks, learn your history bud, back then raekwon and Biggie were beefing that exact same year this shit dropped, Rae would of never did a track with BIG at the time, are you stupid? Aint you ever heard the track Ice Water by Rae, raekwons whole verse was a direct diss towards biggie for biting his style. don't try act like you know your shit, ive been down with wu since the start. this shit was MIXED in 95 by Ron G.
Wrong. This is the track that was used to make If I Should Die Before I Wake (from Born Again) and Deadly Combination. This was recorded before the beef between Rae and Big. Pac and Big only did two songs together in studio: House of Pain and Runnin. And Big L never did any work with either of them. The entire Archives album consists of material made AFTER Big and Pac started beefin' (1996-2000). It would be impossible.
@kgoo867 it was still MIXED only by Ron G, none of these dudes intentionally made there verses for this track. I know that this verse was used for both those songs, i was trying to say that Rae and Biggie didn't have anything to do with each other, and when at all did I say Biggies verse wasn't from those tracks?
So why are you arguing that this isn't the original track? Ie: the first piece of work that these verses were used for. First you claimed this verse was from Deadly Combination, when it was in fact from this recording because that track is a remix made after all three men were dead. You claimed the Big and Rae would never do a track together, yet this was recorded before they were beefing and has absolutely nothing to do with it.
@kgoo867 lol do your research you fucking idiot, Meth and RZA are the only ones out of the Wu family that actually liked Bad Boy, Raekwon hated Biggie from the start you fucking retard he was the one that went out of his way to start the beef with Biggie because Rae thought he was a biter. Biggie completely bit his style, they never ever once liked each other let alone work with one and another, and no your wrong, Biggies verse was recycled from an unreleased son. Ron G is just a Dj that mixes.
@kgoo867 U right about most but not all. Pac n Big recorded Runnin', House of Pain, Let's Get It On (alongside Grand Puba & Heavy D) and one other one which I can't remember right now, but there are 4 OGs.
@TheHumanBallsack just 3 songs by Pac and Biggie unless you wanna count that Madison Square freestyle which I don't. Biggie was gonna be on the song "Who Do U Luv" by 2pac and Stretch but Biggie couldnt get his rhymes in time and left the studio pissed lol - the producer of the song has a story that u can find on google about this
damn someone should make this beat into a fucking instrumental good as fucking beat right here good rappers and lyrics with fire beat? hip hop oh yeah
Imagine If hip hop didn't die imagine there was no homosexuals wack rappers like eminem lil Wayne kanye soulja boy and drake imagine if PAC n biggie didn't die imagine pun and Big L were still spiting imagine sellouts like gay z dr dre and 50 didn't sell thier souls now imagine that.
@12pussylicka Imagine if you knew what the fuck you were talking about. Imagine if you didnt automatically assume someone was a sellout as soon as they start making money. Imagine if your opinion was worth more than my dogs last bowel movement. If Pac, Biggie, Big Pun, and Big L were still alive they would be rapping with rappers like Eminem, TI, Jay Z, Tech N9ne, and J. Cole, probably on Dre beats. Lumping any of these rappers in the same category as garbage like Soulja boy is a travesty
@12pussylicka Faggot elitist alert. No one gives a shit about your dumbass theories, and if you think Biggie wouldn't sellout by now you're retarded. But who are we to say that? Fuck off with your bullshit..
@FINbball Shortly after this was recorded biggie and wu tang had problems... and apparently they had a rocky relationship then too. Raekwon and Ghostface didnt like him cuz they thought he was a biter
Yo, Shyheim dissin' the fuck out rae.. Callin' him a dust head.. I ain't gon front, rae was never 1 of my favorites from Wu. Shyheim got a joint called dust juice thats my shit!!
KRS and Biggie's Verse was da best. KRS lyrics were da best n Biggie's flow was the best. Awesome tape. REAL original shit. not like da bullshit on most mixtapes today.
canibus, eminem, black thought of the roots, pharaohe monch, and techn9ne are considered some of the greatest 5 freestyle emcees to EVER (EVER!) bless the mic.

i tend to agree with u but u really cant compare wu members to eachother like u cant compare wu to other rap, wu tang is forever rea is the man and represents wu in his own way
i agree, i'm suprised there are actually people like myself who believe wutang came into the rap game with something completely different then what other people had to offer. they're original and there is no way you can compare wu tang with a g unit or 90% of the rap groups out here. each wu tang member had their own style and brought a different style to the plate. today's rap game is offering very little. people forgot the what rap was and the glory of rap is forever lost.
To me, Rhyme-wise, Wu was like the 90's version of Guru. No one messed w/rhyme patterns more than they did (especially Gza, Deck, Ghostface, and Raekwon). They may not have been as precise w/it as Guru, but they were awesome. You never see an MC do that nowadays.
