I was on this ride with my friend, it was FUCKING CRAZY. We went twice, despite it costing 8 euros per ride. Nothing beats seeing Wien upside-down from 50 meters up spinning at around 100 km/h :P
that's right but you are 50 or so metres up in the air waiting...
I didn't ride this one when we were there, but went to oktoberfest in munich recently, they had the same ride there. try doing that after sinking 5 or 6 litres of beer, great fun!

No... without movement of the main arm both gondolas are standing upright like it's usual in every ride of this or similar kind.

At Munich there must be "Cyber Space" present, which is a KMG Capriolo, built in the Netherlands with only one gondola at one end of the arm.
This specific one here, built by Funtime - Austria, is not transportable and therfore not travelling at german funfairs ;-).
But there are other rides similar to this with two gondolas.
