a lot of people are viciously slagging off U2 off these days ( partuclarly here in the UK at the time of the Glastonbury show) saying they're shit, Bono's an asshole and the band have never done anything good.But they dont seem to have checked out these old videos.Only an idiot would say that the ZOO tv stuff is not some of the best rock if not THE best rock concerts ever filmed.Every ZOO clip on youtube,every show is of an exceptionally high quality. I think after witnessing 360, and remembering the great ZOO TV show; I think the most pertinent thing I can say is that the circular stage was a nice experiment, good that they tried it... but they need to quickly return to the conventional forward looking stage. It allows for a much more visceral experience when the imagery is directly behind them and not above them. The gigantic 360 stage somehow sucked soul out.

I agree with Nizze, this is U2 at their absolute best. The band's creativity was at it's peak(Achtung Baby) and Bono's voice was strong and solid.

I'm a big fan since 1983 and still am, but it hurts to admit that U2 -although still a good band- have to decide if they should continue with playing huge venues. It seems to me that the fire has left or died down somewhat, also Bono's voice is suffering from 30 years of singing.ZOO-TV was and still is MAGNIFICENT and it shows U2 at their very best!

@michaeltgrace Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the tour was that it was still surprising when it toured your city: no Internet, YouTube, phone cameras, etc. For most of the audience, it was completely fresh (aside from those of us who saw the US Thanksgiving 'Zoo TV' special - unfortunately, the countries featured later in the tour such as New Zealand, Australia, Japan, etc.).

This is why U2 is THE greatest living rock band in the world (along with Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band that is). I saw this U2 tour back in the early 90's and it was just as awesome. The new album will sound great live - definitely looking forward to 360!
