Charging the damn thing would be a problem. A fuel cell would be a better idea that you could purchase in a Garage.

@RenaultUKOfficial What would be a great idea would be to tap into the incredible energy of enriched uranium. Surely this would be a far better fuel source than direct electricity could ever offer. I read somewhere that a pound of highly enriched uranium contains the energy equivalent of about one million gallons of gasoline.

Why not replace your wood fires with "Zero Emission" electric heaters?

Why not replace your candles with "Zero Emission" electric light bulbs?

Because electric heaters and electric light bulbs electric cars run on ELECTRICITY that is made by burning coal or oil in a power plants that pump out millions of tons of emissions.

Well, it still has to be charged. So where comes the electricity from? Yeah, that's right, nuclear power! So, so far the green status of the car...zero emission? No way...that would involve fully solar powered cars imo.

one problem... what if you're late for work and suddenly your car is somewhat low on energy, do you have to wait for it to recharge? if that happens, They'll need to make some sort of "portable energy recharger" or something that recharges while driving...

2012 will be great year for EV cars !! Renault Twizy, Fluence, Zoe Z. E. and Zangoo ZE ! Plus these cars will be joined by Mitsubishi i MiEV and Nissan Leaf !! The cars of "Back to Future II" will at last be in production AND importantly ON THE ROAD !!! Sorry no flying cars..Great way to help save the planet !! More EV cars please !!!

I like the way they have come up with a total new design for the car. It will have so many mixed reviews im sure but EVERYONE will know about these cars as soon as they are released coz they are such eye catchers. bring on the future I say. Lets just hope they aint a stupid amount of money and new drivers can afford them.

kinda like em too.. however.. why is it they only show commercials/vids for ev's in sunny weather.. water/snow/ice and electricity? im curious how they overcome that... im a fan, but id hate to be stuck in a snowstorm at 30 below waiting on a charge or a shorted out auto because of moisture issues
