  • I was there when they made this, in the office with my buddies - Guys fromt he BRO public affairs, and their attachment, 196 Mobile Public Affairs from the Ohio National guard. Best damn PA detachment in the military at the time. Happy Vets day guys

  • Saw this during a Veteran's Day Ceremony in Iraq in 2004. I miss all of my brothers in arms and think of you often.

  • I am proud to have the Big Red One on my right shoulder. A lot of tradidtion and sacrifice dating back 90+ years. No mission too difficult, no sacrifice too great. Duty First!

  • Dunno if the new generation American soldiers could stand up to the same stress level as those in vietnam or wwii. dont know how it is in afghan mountains (humping) but iraq is mainly mechanized and humvees. probably not much physical exhaustion

  • tony turbo so was my granddad. he was a company leader at d-day. he was unfourtanantly killed but he saved ten lives by drawing fire from an mg nest

  • I had the honor to wear the proud one in peacetime 84-87.

    I think of those before me and those now who wear it. They all make me proud. Give 'Em Hell and be Happy.
