this game is a many combinations of games. I've beaten the demo several times and i have to say that Bayonetta combines elements from Devil may cry, ninja gaiden, and god of war(dante's inferno) i feel that it has more of a ninja gaiden feel than it does a Devil may cry feel, but that isn't a bad thing. I'm glad that this game comes out in January because that's my birthday month, so I'm most definately getting this game for sure.

This game is very very overrated, famitsu gave it a 10/10 i played the japanese demo when it came out and the english one last week, the only thing that impresses me is the quality animation and graphics, the game itself is kinda lame and typical, besides as hack and slashs go, god of war 3 is out next year, and i sincerley hope (i know it will never happen) that it gets ported to 360 at some point because its going to be the greatest hack and slash game since sega died

yeah you know gow3 is made by sony? anyways while i dont think bayonetta is worth the 40/40 and 10/10 from famitsu and edge. It is a very very good game, a definite improvement over the dmc games, perfect pacing, great fighting mechanics, beautiful gfx, i could (and i did) literally play the game in two massive sittings, which is hard for games to do nowadays.
