  • Hello. Good video, a question maybe you can help me? How do I add a directory to a live dvd?, I run the live dvd on a laptop with Windows 7. I have to burn any disk folder? Or how I add? I lower the bactrack 4 total releace.

  • Well, I'd go with at least a 4gb.. personal opinion.. Depends what you want to use it for, you might need more.

  • No, I recommend using at least a 2GB Flash Drive, because the ISO File is actually 1.46GB.

  • Thanks for the vid great stuff. One question, I have done just as you say and my computer does boot from the usb but once i select the live option it hangs at a kernal error. Any ideas? Great vid 5/5

  • This tutorial works...

    And to login; root@bt:startx (enter)

    internet:open konsole and type:/etc/init.d/wicd start (enter). Now connect using wicd network manager.

    Note for those with login/startx errors or black screen. upgrade or install video card. if not, starting shoud work in safe graphical mode.cya

  • Yea Trance2mind is right this does work and it's really easy. Plus it's easy to remove off your drive. The password and username for backtrack root and toor.

  • yo ummmm i gotta problem.... i do everything you say everything.... and i don't get the option to boot backtrack 4.... i tried linux mint the same way and it worked, what can be the problem?

    maybe the anti-virus? :o
