I was listeneing to Karl Denver doing this (great!) and I did a dounle-take when Jack Palance was in the side-bar. I had to hear it, as he was always the stock villain in the movies-- and my brother had an ugly girl friend who looked like JP!
Whaddaya know! ? Nice voice and he can hold a tune effortlessly.
really cant sing? says who? thank God we live in these united states, where one can do what ever one wants....its people like you, who said, you cant do this and you cant do that, and how dare you, and on and on....yea how do you spell ego...shoegeezr...that explains it....LOLOLOLOLOL

Incredible bilge! Now I know where the septic tank cleaner unloaded. Why does a fine actor like Palance think he can sing? Why does a great singer like Lennon think he can act (I'm thinking of HOW I WON THE WAR)? Can you spell ego? Stick to what you're good at.
Heavens to Jack Wilson! I've NEVER heard the late great Jack Palance sing before now! Not bad at all! He's actually pretty good. THANK YOU so very much for sharing this absolutely delightful "blast from the past" with us! Of course, it doesn't hurt that I've always loved this son, a huge pop hit for the late great Burl Ives. I hope to hear more of Mr Palance's singing if I can find it! CHEERS! :)
I second that emotion! I'm always recommending the cult film "Bagdad Cafe" to those I know! Amazing film...and the late great Mr Palance's performance in it is even MORE amazing! THANKS for your insightful comment! :)
Actually, the name of the Rod Serling 1950's teleplay the late great Mr Palance appeared in was named "Requiem for a HEAVYWEIGHT". Too bad he didn't get to do the movie version...in that one, Anthony Quinn took over the role. THANKS for your intriguing comment! :)
I'm recovering from the copious amounts of alcohol I drank last night, and I'm writing an essay about Doctor Faustus. Sad times. How about yourself, sir?
Sorry to hear of your hangover! I get one every time I mix vodka with milk of magnesia. That's called a Phillips Screwdriver. I drank more wine last night than I should of. Dr Faustus? Isn't he the dude who exchanged his soul to the devil in return for knowledge & some some nookie with Helen of Troy? Classic stuff. I wish you well with your essay, my friend! CHEERS! :)

Never knew Tom Selleck could sing!

@Schneider10101
Tom Selleck??? This is Jack Palance doing his own version of the early 60's pop hit by the late great Burl Ives.
JubalCalif 1 year ago
I guessed so because of the title of the video. Also the "PALANCE" in big letters next to the picture. I was simply making a joke.
