Sorry for breaking it to you guys. Kurt was absent during the recording of this song (He didn't record anything). Dave does all the vocals, the guitar and the drums. However, Krist is playing bass on this one.
I must say I am a much bigger fan of the foo fighters! but I love Nirvana aswell, It seems I am one of the small ammount of sensible people on this video! Just stop the fighting, What do you think Kurt would of wanted in this case? Not this thats all I can say.
@M4ST40FPUP3TS Hard to say who's better because Nirvana lasted a couple of years, and Foo Fighters have 17 years of career. I know Krist is still good because he played bass on a Wasting Light track, but Kurt...we'll never know if he could be one of the best musicians at 44 years old and 20 years after Nevermind.
@romiicc87 I think Kurt had a lot to offer. With only 3 albums under their belt Nirvana created a huge legacy. The only thing that surpasses that is the fact that The Smiths have become absolutely iconic and they were only a band for 5 years. It just goes to show that lasting long doesn't make one band better, it just makes it harder to maintain quality music. That's my take on it anyhow, I'm just enjoying the music either way :)
@romiicc87 Yes I agree although I must admit what this era has done to music Kurt would never be named best musician in any shape or form he would win awards for rock and punk rock but in best musician he would not. Dave Grohl on the other has won it multiple time in the 17 years of Foo fighters. Although I would say Nirvana are still racking in awards although Kurt has been dead for almost 18 years and it is fucking amazing how that happens. If they get Christmas no 1 I will be amazed.
@giggy4321 it's not emo...not at all...if you want to hear emo go search the shitty music of black veil brides...that's what 'emo' music is...this is just altern music....go back to your music...you don't need to try and shoot nirvana down, just listen to your stuff man...this is really meant to be pot altern..so not emo at all...peace man

I believe most Nirvana fans naturally gravitated towards Foo Fighters, I know I did. Although I struggle with the Foo's later albums, Dave's band is the only band still flying the rock flag with some intergrity - Kurt's influence is still in his mind set. He's just at a point where he can do whatever the hell he likes because he's earned it. Those who claim the Foo's are better band are really just talking about what they prefer, as opposed to who is better.
@fatazzwhale which modern bands ... where are they?I was meaning, I was fifteen when Kurt died. And when Dave released the first Foo Fighters record in 95, being a Nirvana fan in the moment, I bought it. And I was talking bands in the mainstream ... not alternative, indie, or underground. @ZeldaFoxEars I totally agree, all Nirvana fans know who Krist, Dave, and Kurt are, and they know a shitload of info about them. Unlike in new bands these days where the only information you can find about the lead guitar is his stage name. Nirvana for life. :3
@Leopardvixen369 32 here as well. Miami days as a freshman in highschool while the grunge movement exploded. Damn I miss those days. I saw Nirvana live 3 months before he died. One of the best experiences of my life. The Breeders opened. Another tragic story.
@johnnyfingaz Yeah I also remember freshman year of high school and the grunge explosion. Those were great days! I never got to see Nirvana live though unfortunately =(
I love how all Nirvana fans think of Kurt Cobain lovingly. He was so troubled and he deserves this love if he's in heaven or hell or reincarnated or nowhere.

@ScentlessApprentice7 Oddly enough, I think his name will always be associated more with Foo Fighters more than Nirvana simply because the Foo Fighters are one of the biggest bands of the last 10 years

@ledzeppelinIVevr ok dude ,first of all NIRVANA didn't sell more records after KURT's death ,you can do some research before you come up with "clever" conclusions :)...second: GRUNGE came much earlier than 1991,(I'd have to say it again) do some research !...ps: no bad feelings ,I don't see why you thought I would hate u :p
@ledzeppelinIVevr c'mon man, Michael Jackson was huge before he died. Nirvana are not over rated, no other artist from the 90s could keep grunge going after Nirvana disappeared, that says a lot. If anything, they were under rated. Smells Like Teen Spirit gets all the praise, when they have sooo many better songs, stuff like this, and Sappy, that never even made it to an album
Sorry for breaking it to you guys. Kurt was absent during the recording of this song (He didn't record anything). Dave does all the vocals, the guitar and the drums. However, Krist is playing bass on this one.

@ledzeppelinIVevr grunge started in 1984 with green river

@ledzeppelinIVevr c'mon man, Michael Jackson was huge before he died. Nirvana are not over rated, no other artist from the 90s could keep grunge going after Nirvana disappeared, that says a lot. If anything, they were under rated. Smells Like Teen Spirit gets all the praise, when they have sooo many better songs, stuff like this, and Sappy, that never even made it to an album
