  • The female you have that died was a bit hard to see, but if there was a white mass around it's mouth/fangs, it's very likely it was nematodes. Also if it's palps weren't being carried correctly.

  • it probably was, I don't know how it got infected, I always buy pet store crickets

  • Same here, but unfortunately those sometimes get infected or mixed in with a batch of something. Also simply from the employee handling a sick reptile or other animal that might have them. They're pretty tricky little things to note in some creatures because usually when they pop up it's too late to do anything.

  • Is drusila. lol " however you spell it"

is it bigger than Rob C's T. blondi?

  • slightly smaller

  • Why don't you bury them?

  • it was rotting away man

  • So, I always do! It's nicer (:

  • but it was so endangering my health. I still haven't recovered fully from my illness

  • The P.pulcher's abdomen looks different in darkness than on the latest feeding video for some reason.

The fire-red birdeater seems an interesting T to keep.

  • they are. She's always had the black abdomen

  • gud video i want dat suntiger lol

  • Nice video, again :)

  • How temperature do you have in your room? Do you warm your T`s? If yes, how?

btw. really nice collection and spiders. I like that ; )

  • I keep the Ts between 78-82F. I use a small portable room heater to do this. Not any 1 of my Ts have heating mats

  • how big is your s cal now

  • I didn't really see her in person since the video was taken. She's still in hiding... but she looks to be 1.5-2 inches now

  • I hope you get better soon.

What makes you give them names? Attitude, time with them, or just feel like it?

Where do you see yourself/your collection in five years?

    Get some rest.

  • the time with them, they'll be your pets for the next 15-20 years

  • its nice about the molts, but this is apparently the season of death for your T's. RIP

  • Yeah good life span for large spider. sucks your sick. =(

  • It is, but I prefer the Brachys better. Although they don't get as big as L.parahybana and T.blondi, they're more colorful, better attitude and live almost 15 years longer if they're females. Its a toss up because they're also quite slow growers than the big bird eaters

  • How long is the life of a Goliath birdeater? and a Salmon pink birdeater? goliaths are a bit larger in captive.

  • 12-15 if female for both

  • Great vid hope you feel 100% soon

  • cool like the night time vids. glad youre starting to feel better!

  • Great vid jon, get well soon mate

  • thanks, I am starting to feel better

  • good to hear it. im feeling ill now :( its that time of year
