The female you have that died was a bit hard to see, but if there was a white mass around it's mouth/fangs, it's very likely it was nematodes. Also if it's palps weren't being carried correctly.
Same here, but unfortunately those sometimes get infected or mixed in with a batch of something. Also simply from the employee handling a sick reptile or other animal that might have them. They're pretty tricky little things to note in some creatures because usually when they pop up it's too late to do anything.
It is, but I prefer the Brachys better. Although they don't get as big as L.parahybana and T.blondi, they're more colorful, better attitude and live almost 15 years longer if they're females. Its a toss up because they're also quite slow growers than the big bird eaters

The P.pulcher's abdomen looks different in darkness than on the latest feeding video for some reason.
The fire-red birdeater seems an interesting T to keep.

I keep the Ts between 78-82F. I use a small portable room heater to do this. Not any 1 of my Ts have heating mats

I didn't really see her in person since the video was taken. She's still in hiding... but she looks to be 1.5-2 inches now

I hope you get better soon.
What makes you give them names? Attitude, time with them, or just feel like it?
Where do you see yourself/your collection in five years?
Get some rest.
