@Wakoeme That's not quite right... in 1.8 he added a fog at the bottom levels of the map, above the void, no matter what view distance you have it set to. Alot of people are pissed about it because no matter how much you light an area if you are at bedrock level you can only see 10 or so blocks in front of you. People call it void fog because the closer you are to bedrock, and therefore the void, the smaller the distance you can see.

IDEA!... if you do have the butcher shop, have a nearby puzzle that requires growing trees, *and makeing a walkway out of there tops or something* so you have to go to the butcher shop, grab bones, make bonemeal and grow the trees
