If you have one of the later versions of photoshop, you can use filters to create the rotoscope effect. This, of course, is much faster, as the computer literally does all the work for you.

miniclip has somthing like rotoscope only you make a drawing then make your next frame bu tit has a ghost frame to show you were your at, instead of using like camera action

How do you open video into Photoshop? I have an older version of PS. Version 5.5. Can I still do it?

you can't actually open video into photoshop. i used a video editing program called Vegas Video to extrapolate single frames from a video file. you can find freeware video editing programs if you google it.

DVDVideoSoft Free Studio does it under "Free Video to JPG Converter". It can also rip the sound to mp3. And you can use Windows Movie Maker to to the pics back into a vid and just drag and drop the mp3 and DONE. The former is free and, if you run Windows ME or later, the latter should already be in your possession.

Hey cool rotoscope. I'd animate the background a little just so it doesn't look like a still frame. Maybe I would animate the background frame a little or give it a bit of internal movement. Eyes, and beard have really good movements and are well defined.

The rotoscopy in my video is another style hope u come by to have a look.
