* be at least 17 years old (16 years old to apply to the Reserves, with parents’ permission).
* meet the minimum educational requirement for your occupation of choice. Have a minimum grade 10 or Secondary III (Quebec) education for combat arms occupations up to a university degree for Direct Entry officer plan.
* meet all medical and enrollment standards.
* successfully complete the pre-enrollment aptitude test.
this made me think possitive, watched all the the videos, now im gonna work hard in school and join the canadian forces. im 17. hopefully ill join at 18
@gareth7blogs If you complete BMQ, you must then complete environmental training. If you have selected an Army occupation, you will go to a Military Training Centre for the 10-week Soldier Qualification (SQ) course. There are several training centres across the country. Where you conduct the SQ will likely depend on where you will conduct occupation training. The course length depends on your occupation choice.
This should be the recruiting video used by the recruiters. It's much more realistic and accurate then the sugar coated , "anyone can do it" talk out there.
m going to the recruiting office on the 31st october when i turn 18, i really hope they dont take forever to get me started. Air force here i come baby!!!
what happens to them now? do they stay at a millitary place or do they go on with their lives and then when the millitary needs them they go back in to action?
@MapleSatire They go on to their respective training, in their respective elements (Army, Air, Navy) all over the country, they no longer need to stay at the school
hey iv been checking on youtube but i dident find a second season is there one around and where can i get it? also what is a shorter period enlisting in the reg forces or as a reservist becase i enlisted about 4 weeks ago for the armoured recie and am still waiting for a call for the medical and interview
call you local recrutier and ask them whats going on with your app. then ask them if they can get it going, and taking into note that ur post is 5 mts old you might be already in
These videos are awsome. If you have any questions about joining the militairy your questions should have got answered, they did for me anyway.... and i have decided 4 sure now 2 join!
I have watched each episode and iam still very interested in joining the Canadian Forces. I still have a few years to go but it wont be long. I now know what to expect and i can start to prepare my self for whats to come.
