@shannonsurreal its just like sushi mate. fresh from the ocean and if there are parasites all they are gunna do is give you an upset stomach. tastes great like i said in the last comment. too much of it isnt a recommended idea but nibbling is fine and you can eat for sure in a survival situation.

@shannonsurreal well you can by salmon raw at grocery stores but if you dont live near a body of water it may be farm raised which is not proffered to eat even cooked because of taste. save up money sometime and go fishing over in the great old northwest at westport and you will get your fair share of salmon, and also have a great time. i saw a sealion come out of the water and snatch a 25 pounder from a girl and it was the coolest thing ive ever seen, haha.
