Heh, no. He was first a professional athlete, and then he became a member of the British parliament. In 2000, they made Sebastian Coe a life peer, which is basically a lord who sits in our House of Lords, but the title 'Lord' cannot be retained by his children - the Lordship only exists within his lifetime, as it were.
