It's actually a joyful song. Could take it up a notch or 2 in tempo. Compare Koopman's version with Harnoncourt's.

i really love Barbara Schlick, she has a wonderful voice control. I often listen to the aria Zerfliess mein Herze, in the Johannes Passion, sung by her, grear interpretation.

Barbara Schlick geht mir mit ihrer Art zu singen auf die Nerven. Getriller, Frömmelei...ich verstehe nicht, weshalb sie von den großen Dirigenten so gern geholt wird. Die drei Volumen der Koopmann-Bachkantaten hat sie zweillos verdorben.
