Theres a new load of 2jz pullouts from japan on the boat every month to replace all the ones someone turned up the boost on and blew through the pistons or bent the rods before the thing came apart and wrecked the block. The difference is that motorcycle will still be kicking ass while the supra is in the shop again.
lets see a supra making 850 hp and weighs 3200 lbs=3.76 lb/hp
gsxr1000 makes 160hp and weighs 450lbs=2.8 lb/hp
bikes will out accelerate 99.9% of cars because they have a high power to weight ratio
same reason why formula 1 cars are built to be as light as possible while making over 800 hp. A moto gp bike will out accelerate a F1 car, and a liter super bike will out accelerate almost every car on the road.
@almst1 ok you did forget a MAJOR fact the rider and the driver not that it`s important in a car since it`s heavy load but on a bike it has a lot to say.why do all ppl think that a bike will run for it self while there doing PTWR math.when i sit my ass on the bike the load raises with over 50% of the bike weight and then the PTWR isn`t as good as ppl think..it`s still fast as fuck.so if i sat on this bike it would have 510bhp/per ton and car 580bhp/per ton.so actually the car would have the edge

I understand that the bikes power to weight decreases significantly as rider weight increases but the bike should still have the advantage until the rider weighs over 180ish. Both vehicles are stupid fast, but cars require lots of money just to be able to keep up with a liter. If you turbo a liter bike.........
@almst1 i am a mma fighter weighing 210lbs so with me on the bike the bike would have the disadvantage.. i have a bike a suzuki gsx-r 1000 K5 with 235bhp 202rwhp and 132rwNM my friend is 40lbs down on me and when he tried it, it was nearly 3 sec faster to 0-186.5mph =) so yes weight is fucking crucial on a bike not to mention that you are less aerodynmaic then small ppl.. and aerodynmaic is the most important thing @ least if you`re doing top speed run..or 0-186 0-200mph run..

1000cc are beast for sure but i dont think 600cc are jokes i love my 600cc for racing on the track and it eats up 1000cc bike depending on the rider. I dont know if im just a poor rider or what (Im 21 and owned may bikes) but i always get better track times on my 600cc

Lol they always race fucking maxed out cars 800hp+ against a bike that hasn't had any work done to it, and the bikes usually always win, shit bikes are so good you don't even need to be fair :) buy a veyron and spend all you want on that (maybe a few million inc purchase), i could get a bike, spend £5000 on it and it would waste any car, basically what i'm trying to say is, if you want something that's fast and fun then GET A MOTORBIKE!!

Cool :) yeah even 600cc bikes do well against a car like a ferrari, it's great how you can spend so much less and make it soo much faster, even turbo charging a bike can be cheap if you have the skills and equipment.

It's fast, fun, can race with the AC blasting cold and music. It can drift too and make a very nice show n shine car.

If the guy has a Supra and put so much money on it (enough to buy more than one bike) it's not only because he'll think he's the fastest out there. It's a passion. When you love a car so much you don't care if bikes are faster or even other cars.

@DriftkingS2K Actually there is, honda goldwings have airbags, stereo, air conditioning and big comfy chairs while riding, and custom built goldwing's are even crazier iv'e seen em with covertible roofs (stupid though i think) and seating made for 3 people (could fit more) comfort like you wouldn't believe and all the luggage you want to carry, so i guess bikes can do everything cars can (near enough) and more! but the best thing about them is the thrill, freedom and fun from them.

HAHAHA no the fucking supra lost all fucking day. GOOD driver on the bike but he fucks up the last run, hitting the rev limmit and cant find the right gear, falls back has now lost the battel but still it pulls the supra back until it hits his top speed.. and you take credit for that win OMG. and you call yourself "spooledup motorcycle slayer""" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.. the truth here is: if you turned up the boost and he wasen`t unlucky he would still walk you like a dog.

that bikes wind screen sed 10.30 ... i hope for his sake thats not his 1/4 mile time... my 02 gsxr 1000 with 18k miles bone stock besides d&d mid pipe and can, ran 10.31 at 137.5 mph and i was 190lbs at the time plus gear...
this bike is a 10 flat bike all day is not high 9's imo

Cars have to put 500-600 extra horsepower in most non-exotic cars in order to beat a bike. If money rules the road then why do you have to put 25k extra into a car in order to keep up with a 10k bike. Hopefully I have educated you on money and mods.

hes not a good rider. he had a 10.30 dial in on it!!!!????wowowow. average rider will run 9.80s. richard gadson on debue day of 2007 gsxr with pipe, strap and map ran a 9.00 @ 152. thats stock. hes pro. good riders run 9.30s. hes a sloutch but power just took over riding ability giving he didnt have to launch.
