@Memoryofdreams Yes, Arizona will be back & with Callie. Jessica Capshaw is/was on maternity leave. But don't expect her to be fully back b/c Jessica does need to spend time with her new baby. Shonda Rhimes said, "Callie & Arizona will be back together soon. [The break up] was a way to jump-start the next phase of their storyline." & that " I wanted to give these 2 an incredible painful & wonderful journey..." So don't worry, I trust that the writters will make it beautiful and awesome!

We get most things from Callie's point of view, not Arizona's, so that contributes to a natural bias towards Callie. A ended it but she had reason to - C was clearly unhappy and non-supportive. Callie was going to Africa because she wanted to be with Arizona, not because she was happy for her or proud or supportive of Arizona, what she had achieved or the work she was going there to do. For all we know Arizona's in Malawi crying her heart out, alone, and wondering if Callie's mentioned her.

Pregnant with a baby made from sad sex with someone you're not in love with - hardly a thumbs up to me. I doubt I would find that awesome. So I stressed about this possibility for 4 days. But then I thought, I've liked everything else they've ever done. Everything. Let's see what you've got up your sleeve Shonda, because I am convinced she is some kind of genius. Love Teddy for this ep, she was great. C + A = 2 big idiots, and those 2 big idiots are her aspirational couple? Aw, I liked that. The issue I had with Mark/sex buddies - it's been done, so done, just history repeating, back down the rabbit hole. I had thought it was too predictable that they would do that again. It's that that surprises me. Maybe they'll now learn because from the looks of it the sorbet didn't work. I know this is all part of a grand plan so. Where oh where is this going...

I can see where Callie is coming from on this. Mark is the only constant in her life- the only one who hasn't left her. George left her for Izzie and then died, Erica left her standing in a car park and now Arizona left her standing in an airport. He is the one that has always been there so I think it makes total sense for her to gravitate back to him again.

@1college07 Although everything you said about Callie is true (single, lonely, etc.), I still don't think it should have been Sloan she slept with. They're best friends and AZ has had a problem with the way he treats women from the start. In the past season and a half alone, he's had sex with Lexie, Addison, Derek's sister and now, Callie. He knows how much she loves AZ, yet still had sex with her. A best friend wouldn't do that, IMO.

No one should have sex with their BFF unless they realize they're in love with each other. That may make me a prude, but I stand by my convictions. If she had to have sex with anyone, I'd rather it have been another woman or a male stranger. Mark, being her BEST FRIEND, should have turned her down and talked to her.
