I wish no one cared about the musician's personality; it would increase the quality of mainstream music right now and prevent a lot of bullshit that pollutes a lot of people's live. Met someone who knew him as a student at Berklee. Said his experience of him, there, was that he was good, and he was cocky. This musician told me there are two kinds of musicians: Cocky ones and humble ones. I don't think he's changed...always been the same John Mayer he is now..it's just the lvl of exposure that's changed..he's just acting himself..most artists can't do that which is why slot of people don't like him..but honestly he's just sayin what were thinking..

i think the public's perception of him has changed (mainly due to high profile relationships) more than HE has actually changed
it's a shame that people are so down on him these days because he truly is a wonderful musician
