The 'trucks' were stiff making it very difficult to steer. If it was my skateboard I would adjust them so that you could steer by just leaning. ;)

You should have seen my roller blading.. I did a similar thing.. Fell on my ass and was only concerned with whether a girl a fancied was watching.. She was.. Doh! =:D

It's a hell of a lot harder than it looks! Many years ago I tried a bit of skateboarding, and got a few grazes to show for it-I certainly never got as good as that! I'm impressed :)

Thank you Samsarajade. Actually, this particular skateboard was quite difficult to ride because it had really stiff trucks compared to the one I had as a kid, and I couldn't get used to the steering in time;)
