my little bunny died in my arms about a month ago of old age. what is most confusing is when he was in my arms, a beam of sunlight shined down on him. at that moment i said "i love you thumper", and i knew he was accepted into heaven. i made an actual gravestone and i buried him in my backyard. ok now i am having those feelings all over again! I hope he is the first little face i see when i pass on too. REST IN PEACE THUMP!

This is a beautiful story, sad as hell but beautiful and I salute you for your compassion toward that old ragged cat. His life may have been horrible and full of abuse but the last thing he saw and felt before he died was the loving arms of kindness and a friendly voice. Yes, this story is heartbreaking. But are you guys seeing the message? This cat loved everyone, even the people that threw rocks at him, the people that sprayed him. All this cat gave was pure unconditioned love, even in his last moments of life and even after being mistreated all his life. I cried not just for the story but from the message. As human beings we need to be more like this cat. This story is sad and beautiful at the same time

That poor baby must have been very loving and friendly. The only thing that was wrong was that he was scarred and that no one wanted him. SSSSoooooo sad T.T. I am still crying.

I am crying now,so hard:( This makes me so sad and heart broken:( How could anyone be mean like that to such a loving,innocent cat:( I love animals and am against animal abuse in any form:( He should have been taken into a loving home and loved!!! If he lived here and I found him like that,I would have taken him to the vet and had him taken care of and checked to see what I could do to help him. He didn't deserve that kind of life:( That poor little angel:( I am really crying harder now:(

why.. WHY did not only ONE goddamned person give this poor creature a loving home? a creature who (not which!!) just wants to give his and get some love?
i absolutely can´t understand how people can be so barbarous. when my 16 year old cat died, i cried for days and weeks. 2 years later at last christmas 2010, my daughter found a 2 weeks old kitten ouside who (!) just sat around in the snow. now this little creature´s got a loving home where he gets all he need.
it can be just that simple.

when you saw ugly being miss treated by the others where were you, did you rescue him/protect him then? Did you consider finding a local no-kill shelter who would have found him an awesome loving home where he'd be safe from cruelty? go a head pat yourself on the back for hold a cat who was dieing (heard of a vet ) and how he helped you.. I feel hart broken and sad for that poor wonderful creature that God loved yet no human did. He's not Ugly all the humans around him where.

This is a beautiful story, sad as hell but beautiful and I salute you for your compassion toward that old ragged cat. His life may have been horrible and full of abuse but the last thing he saw and felt before he died was the loving arms of kindness and a friendly voice. Were he human I'm sure he would have said, "It was all worth it for this one moment of love and compassion." My wife and I both cried like babies. We love animals and it hurts us when we hear of people abusing them..........

I am a 17 year old boy turning 18 in two weeks and i cried, It shows how fucked our generation si to hose down such a defenseless cat, ive taken in many strays over the years by begging and pleading with my mom, i found them all great hopes, Thumbs this up to show others they can do the same for any animal

I would trade my life for that kitty's to save him, the most beautiful living loving creature ever in this world. I'm a enormous animal lover and I will slap anyone who abuses animals. I once had a baby pup so small. He tried eating the food we gave him but he was too weak and so lonely because his mother and brothers n sisters got ran over. My dad saved that little small fragile puppy. One night, the pup slept on my dad's arm and in the morning when my dad woke up, the puppy stopped breathing

Am I the only one wondering why he/she waited until the cat was getting mauled to rescue it?? Is the cat pictured Ugly? Maybe it's just me but if it is Ugly than I would think by the story and picture that he/she could've done something long before it was being mauled. I think it's a made up story that was put with a picture of an abused cat...

Yes, this story is heartbreaking. But are you guys seeing the message? This cat loved everyone, even the people that threw rocks at him, the people that sprayed him. All this cat gave was pure unconditioned love, even in his last moments of life and even after being mistreated all his life. I cried not just for the story but from the message. As human beings we need to be more like this cat. This story is sad and beautiful at the same time

I was looking for some pictures of ugly cats for fun when i came across this on google.i had no idea that it would be this sad. i wish i had on't read it. suddenly the world around me turned black. i was looking for fun and now i was crying.i was depressed the whole day. i am a great animal lover and can't bear to see such things. i wish all animal abusers were kicked on their ass and sent out of the planet.
