I was at this game. There seemed to be no way that:
a. The game would even happen (It poured all morning)
b. The Cubs could come back from being down 9-1
c. That they would do it after Lou pulled the starters in the fourth and fifth
Needless to say, it was the best game I have been to in my years of being a Cubs fan. Did I mention it was my wife's first Cubs Game? She about wept when she first saw the field in person. Lou said it was the loudest he had ever heard Wrigley. Me too.
i was there. this was my first MLB game and my dad took me to it. i didn't really like any team and after this game i became a cubs fan!
