Okay well, Hera always hated Hercules because he was born out of wedlock. Soo basically after Hercules was in battle for years, he goes through shell shock a bit and Hera messes with his senses; causing him to think that Meg and his children are enemy soldiers....then he slaughers them. He feels incredibly horrid after that so he volunteers himself for these 12 difficult tasks and in the last one runs into Meg in the underworld where she forgives him. :(

If They're going to do that, They have to make Pocahontas a Princess as well. Technically, She IS a princess, Not a White one. She's the Daughter of a chieftain, So that qualifies as 'Princess'.

Pocahontas being an Official Disney princess would give alot of hope and pride for us Native americans that got our land taken away from us, just like the aboriginies in Australia.

Yeah, but if you noticed .. Snow White is (as the name implies) "whiter than the snow" but you don't exactly see her at your local disney stores on pencils and bookbags... so it's not really a question of "hope and pride" of races. Maybe just a matter of the popularity? Who knows. Maybe by princesses .. they refer to the ones that are like from UK royalty. Like that of Aurora. Belle, Jasmine (another country) etc. just my two cents.

I heard somewhere (on a Disney discussion) that they were going to add Megara to as a princess. So I commented on this video about that. (as seen below). Then this all started, months later.. hehe. Mind you, I'm 22 years old.. graduated college, was very popular in high school (very social now) and I still prefer Disney to the nonsense the media tries to throw at us at a constant level. hehe. so, personally, I don't think you're a geek. you just know your stuff. =P

I think pocahontas isn't that popular because she isn't as typical as belle or cinderella...when I was five, I loved the princesses because they were so girly, with the dresses and all...but now I'm older, I love pocahontas just because she doesn't wear the pink dresses:D I mean, I didn't like Jasmine because she didn't wear a dress...so, I think it's just a matter of merchandising :)
