I've noticed Crosby's absence from NHL action have sort've grown his legend a bit and people are starting to respect his play and skill level now. Interestingly enough, Gretzky and especially Lemieux had reputations as whiners in their 1st few years in the league but are the most respected former NHLer's. When Crosby's about 37. 38, he'll be one of the most if not the most respected hockey player with many fans marveling at his career as it winds down. Funny, Some things never change.
