Others have said it all before, but to summarise: (1) "Get Outta My Way" actually did really well on the American dance charts. Went to number 1, spent 13 weeks on chart, got her multiple TV appearances. (2) It might look silly, but this parade is a big deal in America (Kanye West also appeared), and everyone lip syncs during it. (3) That outfit is Chanel from head to toe.

In other words, this is actually a career highlight for Kylie. Even if It looks like she's miming a flop for some kids.

For non-North-Americans like me the performance actually seems extremely below Kylie's star level, to a slightly (or not) ridiculous level.

However, the Thanksgiving parade is really a huge event in the USA and getting this one and half minute on air may actually be an amazing merchandising tool.

And this is her third dozen televised performance of this flop, that has done literally nothing in any country except the UK.
