Not as good as I remember. My dad would take my brother and me to the video shop (now a takeaway) to hire a film out once a week. We'd always take the same superted video out even though we'd seen it before.

OMG this was actually a bit sad, I mean that bit where he pulls the harpoon out of the baby whale and a tear drops out of his eye, plus sad background music, very moving, I wish Superted would stop the Japanease whalers of today from harpooning whales, didnt they learn from this episode that there wont be any left lol

Just for the record, Skeleton sounds like Dot from Eastenders, looks a bit like Dot too lol

they claim they are killing them for research which is a whole lot of hogwosh ! if everything zoologist had to kill thousands of the species they are studying they wouldn't exsist to study anymore. they really doing it for commercial purposes ie to sell whale meat , i've even seen a whale hamburger , its about 1/2 the size of a proper beef bruger , they should be ashamed of themselves.

Many UK animated series were made with the tounge not just in the cheek, but up the arse...it's nothing new. Watch "Round The Bend"...it's scarier.

The whole show is interwoven with gay imagery. If the beginning isn't a metaphor for gays being shunned by society, then I don't know what is ('found something wrong with him and threw him away like a piece of rubbish'). Plus, the FANTASTIC disco song at the end... come on.

Anyway, if you think this is bad, try watching an episode of Captain Pugwash.

What's the big deal? Just having a laugh. I truly hope this cartoon was trying to lay some subliminal groundwork for better acceptance of homosexuality in modern society. It's pretty likely that it wasn't, of course. If it was, then what a delightfully mischievous method.
