I wonder if Norris is related to Chuck? Anyways great pilot with a great suit. If Char had had a space version when Gundam was first deployed he would have changed the course of history.
gouf B3 is a good suit and excels at what it was designed to do, i am a bit saddened though that i cant find decent vids for Kampfer nor Xamel, those suits rocked when you knew how to use them, hell it took a beam saber to put the Xamel down and he got lucky cause the pilot charged him so all burning had to do was pull aim activate and no more Xamel pilot, though it's shear mass and speed still put them both into a rock face togther pinning is GM custom, good vid, just wish my fav had vids too.
@DestinyFreedom the beams i could have done with out, but i do agree the gouf ignited was an awsome design idea....again though the beams were not needed...nor the beam great sword. A normal solid sword would have been better.
Actually you are wrong the beam weaponry was installed so that it could better combat the Gundams, which if you remember correctly highly resistant if not immune to all but the most powerful solid rounds. This is why suits like the Zaku and Zaku II were so easily defeated even when Amuro was just a new pilot.
@OmegaSenshen actually amuro was able to prevail not because of the gundams high damage resistence but the simple fact that the RX-78 far out classed every single mobile suit that Zion had, not to mention the fact that it was combined with a newtype pilot. Once it recieved its magnetic coating it was considered unstoppable, even outclassing the Gelgoogs which were made to fight on the gundams level.
Actually the Gundam was outclassed by most of the Zeon Mobile suits later in the war. The reason he won so much was because he was a Newtype. As for the magnetic coating it was installed so that the gundam could keep up with Amuro. If they hadn't done that it likely would have been destroyed, as it was slowing Amuro down. As far as it being invincible it was destroyed by the Zeong, as after that it could barely move so fighting another mobile suit would have been impossible.
@OmegaSenshen i am referring to the gouf ignited and the spazzyness of all the beams in Seed. The beams in UC were limited and were designed as more powerful compact weapons. So what i mean to say is that gouf uc> gouf seed
