IMHO, the scores were all wrong!....Drew actually looked like a professional dancer!....The score should have been at the very least a 9.  Can't figure out these judges sometimes!..

they score harder on week 1, gives them something to work for. It would be dumb if they were giving out 9s and 10s.AND Maybe he should look somewhat professional since he was already a dancer.

I love cheryl burke's choreography. She never tries to upstage her partner who is the one being judged.She makes him do perfection .She has won two trophies so far.The chemistry she concocts is the reason she is a success.

Yes, Cheryl and Drew won in season 2, AND Cheryl was nominated for two emmy awards for Choreography ("Thriller" Paso Doble and "Ride a Cowboy" Free style), and Art Direction of the show. She didn't win choreography because the other candidate was 'HS Musical"... an odd contest for that award! Drew and Cheryl set several firsts during their dances... first 2 perfect 30's in one night etc. Cheryl was only 20 y o at the time.

In season 3 she won trophy again with Emmitt Smith. Enjoy.

Hi.. jusmylove... Not sure why you wrote to me re Cheryl's age when dancing with Drew but actually she was born May 3 '84 and her 21st birthday was May 3 2005. She danced with Drew in DWTS 2nd season which started in Feb '05. So she danced with Drew and won her 1st DWTS trophy before her birthday, so she was only 20. She is the youngest choreographer ever nominated for 1 emmy let alone 2, ie the paso doble and the free dance w Drew. Are we on the same page I hope? Best wishes...

this is the best dance they got, week 1 both of them are not very touchy to each other after 6 weeks they're very comfortable with each other and Drew is not shy to hug Cheryl everytime they finish the dance number.

I haven't watched it since season two, but I think they just had to do steps that were usually in that dance. (ex: stomping, or hard expressions on the face.)
