baseball is a version of an english girls game called rounders. the girls would play it whilst the boys played a real game...cricket. baseball is a shitty girls game. Ian botham once played baseball, and hit so many home runs, he got bored...he commented that its so much easier to play than cricket, because tha ball doen't bounce. talk about long boring games, i hear that the superbowl last 1 1/2 mins took 1 hour to complete...what trash!

I looked your claim up online, and while there's no real proof of what you said, it's also possible that because Botham was an exceptional batsman, he found the transition easy. Any one of us losers typing on the Internet would probably get creamed.

There's nothing about baseball in his Wikipedia article or his Cricinfo profile, so I have to question the veracity of this claim.

It boggles my mind that cricket fans are so insecure about their sport, they have to trash baseball to feel good.

its name the world series due to the sponsorship when it first started by 'the world' newspaper (or sumsuch) in new york.

Despite this deal fading, the name has stuck due to the historical value.

how can you say it is fun too watch? i spent an hour of my life a few weeks ago watching some baseball, and i know for a fact that in that hour the ball was hit exactly 10 times. 5 of which were fouls... what a wasted hour

What's the point of world records if there are draws left, right and center? Batsmen can average over 100, bowlers can average 0, but if there are no good contests, no winners and no losers, what's the point?

This is the IPL's second year. Given the financial power and monopolistic drive of the BCCI, I daresay the IPL will have many more years to come.

How many drug scandals cricket vs. baseball? I don't know. How many match-fixing/ball tampering scandals has cricket had?
