@debusch The NES version was made after the arcade release, therefore there were added things in to the console version.

Sometimes when I'm fighting Shredder, I'll end up killing the clone instead of the actual Shredder, who just falls to the ground like, "oh I guess I die now."

Man I love this game. Just got Re-shelled and it's awesome and so far no lag but I was disappointed at the fact that the original music is no longer there.
