I once had the Silver version of this game, I mean Medabots Rokusho Version, it was confiscated and never returned so now I'm trying to get a new one.

You could have started out with the Missiles, Ace. They have a 100% hit rate, so you can never miss. Granted they only have 4 uses, but it's still a guaranteed hit (with possible chain damage).

P.S. Stop does exactly what it says: It stops you from moving in either direction for a certain amount of time (which depends on your Medabot's speed).
