i'm not happy with my satio (mine is a silver version), the problem is tht it doesn't seem to be able to send a file via the bluetooth. even when it does, it works really really slow. i'm moving to HTC Desire HD

I used this phone for more than a year. The only good thing on this phone is the camera. Touch screen is not that reponsive you have to tap it twice or thrice to make it work. And its very slow when you're surfing the net. The Symbian OS makes the phone more dissapointing to the user. For lit has imited applications. I only downloaded 3 applications on my satio. Now im happy that i swtiched it to Samsung Wave S8500.Its not that expensive like the satio but at least you'll not be dissapointed.

Have you had any problems when the phone is on standby (the screen is off not dimmed) then you press the unlock key and it lags you have to press it twice or more to respond. That is what was wrong with mine and now i am getting a new phone and i don't know whether Satio again or Blackberry Bold 9700. ANy opinions

Yepp. It doesn't have a 3.5 mm but it sounds good. What advanced users will like about is the KINETIC SCROLLING and the 12 mp camera. And who cares if it's Symbian? Atleast they can use it for daily activities.

If you put a protective screen it doesn't effect the touch effect, it stills work :)

Make sure to put one on or the whole screen will get scratched.

The rotate mode works, but you didn't notice the two buttons on the bottom of the screen asking you in which direction you want it to rotate the photo. Also go to the settings and activate the sensor to automatically rotate screen.

I just depends on what you like. Apart from the apps and responsive touchscreen, the iPhone (3G not 3GS) is one of the worst phones I've seen for it's time. The camera is a disaster at only 1MP and it can't record video. The battery doesn't usually last a full day. The call quality isn't great. It just depends on what YOU call a phone. I wante'd one because of the apps but it's not really worth it. That's just my opinion though.

don NOT compare the satio with a 1.5yr old iphone 3g. You have to compare it with the 0.5 yr old 3gs. And we all know it can not compete with it. Because it has a shitty resistive unresponsive shit screen. I still cant believe that aino has capacitive. and satio doesn't... whatever. I'm going with HTC HD2.

i really hope you are right. it's very bold of SE to make a phone that is almost completely touch. atleast xperia x1 hade "physical" qwerty-keyboard. like I said i had X1 for 1 year and sold it yesterday, My brother got SATIO and i'm considering it too. I hate having to push the screen 2or 3 times for the phone to react, that's why I havn't decided yet. Bad experience with xperia. I even udated it with a newer ROM but still the touchfunction sucked.
