I love Janice as well... She is a fighter, and like mentioned in previous episodes she's had her rough patches and still managed to be a driven woman.

1. sheS a mom, the majority of these models are the age of her son... 2. she really DOES care about her models! she takes care of them whereas other agents (ie. Peter) just want to skim their money and keep on making.

Janice is pure PRO with every aspect of this career, and dramatics are not over the top in an industry that is expected to shock.

Don't be a fool. The whole show revolves around generating ratings. Do you seriously think that the clients are paying the models enough to generate enough money to cover the cost of shipping the models everywhere? The models are flown out on company money and the tickets and hotel rooms alone would end up costing much more than what the company is getting (around 200 per model per job=800-1000 per job).

Janice seems a bit pushy this episode, and the clients are overly picky and somewhat jerks. Although the client is supposed to be "right", they doesn't mean they have to be an ass about it. The client also seems to be sort of cheap as well, so Janice was right to try to get them to pay for the fittings.
