However, you can't judge a band by how many fans they have. That's like following sheep into the mainstream. I'm glad they went Indie/Underground. They have more creative freedom and don't have to write music the industry tells them to. I look forward to when they reunite and finish album #6. You don't have to be there for the launch.

@cliftonite187 Dude go and listen to Diorama...the riffs, melodies, and vocal harmonies that Daniel Johns wrote for that album are beyond amazing. iron maiden are fantastic in their own right, but to me they're a band that have kept the same set formula since year zero, all the songs on all the albums sound the same....and their entire back catalogue is one giant album because it all sounds the same. The differences in ALL Silverchair records proves that daniel is so unbelievably talented.

@cliftonite187 the only part of this thats even worth commenting on is the time space between Frogstomp and Freak Show. Frogstomp came out in early 95, and Freak Show in early 97.....does that seem like 10 years to anyone else? No? Yeah didnt think so. It was 2 years, which is pretty much the normal time span between any 2 albums. I know youve got a ton of commens in response to yours, and thas cus youre a goddamn tool....but you could at least possess the mental capability of doing simple math

I think it's pretty dumb of him to slate a band that have sold probably 100 million more records than his band... I'm not saying Iron Maiden are better than Silverchair, but lets face it, I don't think Silver chair will sell as much as Iron Maiden, have as big international fan base, or ever play a headline stadium show as big as Iron Maiden do... I'd have to check which song (the iron maiden thing) but generally it's the rock am ring concert 2003 and it should be on youtube if it hasn't been removed. they are really drunk and it's more than funny, you definitely should check it out, one of their best shows imo (not singing-wise though).
