We do have to buy car insurance here. the practical difference is that car insurance is very competitive across all state lines and car insurance costs have to be transparent and clear to be competitive. Earlier government regulation prevents health insurance companies from needing to compete or be strait forward with costs.

This new health insurance bill says "If you have a body, you HAVE to buy health insurance"...don't you understand that? Thank you congress for forcing people to buy insurance from the private insurance companys, I just so happen to be invested in these corperations and am hoping to see a fat check from it !!!
