Ive seen these three flying in formation at Mildenhall in the 90's

Edwards has been flying these three together in air shows since before 2000. The B-52 is a flying dump truck, with all that implies (It also doubles as an anchor for Aircraft Carriers). The best bang per bomb load?......The B-1B, Baby! I worked 'em both for 23 years. And, sentimentality aside, the "BUFF" is a pig.

Actually, no, only the B-1 can carry more. The B-52 can carry 70000 lbs. The B-1B can carry 125000lbs. (50000 externally, 75000 internally) . The B-2 is limited to 25000 per bay, it has two bays for a total load of 50000 lbs.

Their announcement as they were about to fly over was that this was the first ever, so I was just going off what I heard. And even if it wasn't, this is the first video of it that I have seen.  :)

They had a similar 3-bomber fly-by at Edwards AFB in 2005 - and there weren't any others until this one. I'm sure it was the first for the announcer & nearly everyone in attendance, as these formations are very rare. I'm going to try to dig up and post my video of it as soon as I find it :-) I think the formation itself was different. Thanks for posting!!
