Like today's peace movements they repeat the most grievous flaws of the 1930s peace movements blindness to the gulf separating totalitarian regimes from Western democracies. From 1938 to 1941, peace groups issued no less than 50 statements about how to achieve peace. But, only two argued that the defeat of Nazism was essential. Similar groups today rail against Bush work in Iraq but say nothing against any of the Islamo-fasist that commit horrendous acts to bring about a world-wide Islamic state

Judging by your "favorites", "fukapple", including this one, it's easy to see where you come from, and that you enjoy denigrating people and animals. I'd love to see you try to go on a hunger strike for ANYTHING that mattered to you for even a day. You wouldn't make it.

There's "gonna" BE war?? What has been going on for years? Yes, if Bushco continues to break both national and international laws, there will be a nuclear war in Iran. Which means, we can all say "goodbye", because it won't stop there. The rest of the world already hates us for our "leaders" crimes. And BTW: I'm not a "lady". If you have any knowledge at ALL of feminism, you'll understand that statement. (Madonna/Whore dichotomy.)

What these people are doing is making fools of themselves, trying to re-live the golden hippie years. Whether they like it or not, there is still going to be war, and possibly with Iran, too. Countries like that are full of, and run by, bloody fanatic terrorists. And if you don't like my opinion, tough shit!!

CodePink has sent delegations to Iraq and Pakistan many times, they are NOT run by "bloody fanatic terrorists". They're people wanting to live peaceful lives raising their children, just like US. And we aren't making fools of ourselves, we are accomplishing a wind-down to the occupation (not "war") in Iraq, and working to bring our soldiers home alive. We accomplish this through street theater and other antics, which you refer to as "making fools" of ourselves. Guess again, kid.
