I think she used the big tip because she is sick of making all these cakes. A way smaller tip would be the one she should use. The decorating comb did a terrible job on the sides, ditch it.

Note: you should hold the comb farther down the comb (closer to the base). Holding it too high will make the comb bend (as it did here), making the comb-work uneven.
