Awesome film. This film was sort of my intro to HPL in general. I loved the animation, and can't you just feel the tickle when the claws come out?

I really love this. HPLHH film'd this so that it resembled an effort produced in the year that H. P. Lovecraft wrote "The Call of Cthulhu" (1926), & I suppose the animation was meant to seem as though a product of the cinematic technology of that time. & yet this Cthulhu looks really great -- especially on the big screen. I first saw the film at the Hollywood Theatre on that huge main screen -- AWESOME!!!!

Eh, some people will believe anything. As far as I'm aware, most people don't believe he exists (myself included). The author of the story Cthulhu appears in didn't think he (or any of the authors other creations, for that matter) actually existed, though he aimed to make it seem like as real a mythology as possible to people he talked to.

But, yea, most people don't think he's real.
